Cedar Key, Florida Feb. 5-9??, 2024 (or any part thereof) Cedar Keys Rally nostalgia updated: 20 November 2022 |
From: Patricia Kuntz [mailto:patkuntz16@yahoo.com] Hi Al, some of us are going to Cedar Key after the
Midwinters. It’s an “on your own planning” sort of event. Jim Heffernan has
made his reservations for Monday through Thursday, leave Friday and I’ll
probably do the same this week.

Rally - Feb 2023 Ahoy Sailors, Midwinters are coming
up soon so planning for the tween-week rally has
begun. Why “tween” week? On the
weekend following the Mids, LESC will have five
club races thus providing another weekend on Lake
Eustis in the same weather and wind time frame as
the Mid Winters.
Linda and I are planning to stay at
the farawayinn.com which
has one of the best sunset viewing locations on
the water. We will get one of the waterside
units so it can be a base for the sunset
gatherings and probably a grilling night which
will include the famous smoked mullet dip. Cedar
Key is a small town, so a short ride or walk will
get you everywhere. Also the kayaking is quite
lovely. Let me know what other cruisers
should be added to the list.
