Rally Goers: The 2025 North American Cruse Rally will be held at Killbear
Park from July 19 to 25. On Sunday July 20, the CWA Long Distance Race
will be part of the Rally fun plus allow other Wayfarers to join us for the
LDR. As in the past, the NA rally will involve a variety of sailing and
social activities. The rally is a great chance to renew old friendships
and make new ones. With
respect to Killbear Provincial Park, you need to be aware of the
following. We can not book Killbear campsites as a group, so each
individual or group needs to make their own reservation. We try to book
campsites in the Lighthouse Point Campground. https://ontarioparks.ca/pdf/maps/killbear/killbear_campground_overview.pdf The booking of Ontario Park campsites opens 5 months before
your arrival date. You book on February 19 for arrival on July 19.
The maximum stay that you can book is 7 nights. I will send out booking
information as the booking date ( February 19) approaches. https://ontarioparks.ca/reservations/rules
If you do not want to receive future notification with
respect to Killbear 2025, please email me back. If you know of other Wayfarers interested in getting updates
on Killbear 2025, please tell them to email me. Even
though all is white with snow here in Ottawa, I'm looking forward to seeing you

Subject: the
reservation process
..., the trick is to sign on at 7am sharp when
registration opens, not at midnight.
1) Login at 6:50am
2) Navigate to the Map page select a site
3) Watch the clock in the top right corner
4) When it hits 7:00:00, click RESERVE
5) Pray :)
They only time midnight works is on the morning of
Feb. 29th. At midnight, sites open up for July 29th,
30th and 31st! This is because there is no Feb. 30,31.
So several days become available at once.

| N.B. the opening of the
reservation window to reservations
starting Sat 19 July is 7AM EST on Wed 19 February. Have have list of your desired
campsites in the Lighthouse Point area prioritized
and be ready and on line with your credit card. If
your reservation will start on a different date,
the window opening moves accordingly, e.g. 8 Aug
> 8 March, etc. |
