FROM THE STERNSHEETS
We hope that everyone has made it through the winter and is looking forward eagerly to slapping the varnish around - it won’t be long now.

COMMERCIAL
Don’t forget that Croce & Lofthouse Sailcraft Ltd. will be only too happy to supply you with the bits and pieces that you need to get your boat into shape.  You will get the benefit of their wide experience and spend a pleasant half-hour.

Alec Lowenthal is presently skiing in Denver, Colorado, and George Blanchard is just back from Vancouver.  Wally and Cathie Cavill have a head start on everyone this year because they are already sun-tanned as a result of imbibing deeply of the native beverage of Barbados.

The Wayfarer has been shown in many places during the winter and people are flocking to join the ranks.  Incidentally, because of the increasing number of boats around, the Executive is preparing a brief for the AGM, proposing the formation of Fleets.

We’re hoping to arrange another “get-together” in the Toronto area in the near future.  The last was a great success and special thanks are due to Shelly Levy and her parents.

The Executive wish to remind you that all Wayfarers taking part in recognized regattas must be registered with the Association.

Toronto area sailors will be sailing all regattas on a fixed triangle off Gibraltar Point - no more trouble with freighters!!  We won’t have so much trouble with Lightnings this year because the Finns will start between us and them.
