Last September, George Blanchard and Dr. Laurie Oxenham  raced in the One of a Kind Dinghy competition at Bronte Harbour Yacht Club. In spite of very light winds, the Wayfarer gave a terrific performance against the Albacore, sailed by Bill Gooderham, one of Canada's top competitive sailors, who placed first.  Wayfarer 283 came 2nd, and the Bronte Wayfarer group were very pleased with George and Laurie's fine effort, and look forward to a first in 1967.  Let's hope for heavy winds.
