Saturday on shore - 6 (the band)
photos by Janice Ryder and Uncle Al
...

After our ill-fated attempt at race #2 that became a windless sunset cruise,
long-standing CLYC member, Tom Spring, and his friend, Steve Trosin (hat) brought out their guitars and harmonica.
...

They played until after midnight to a select but most appreciative audience which ...
...

... included Tom and Steve's oh so lovely "minders" ...
...

... Suzanne (r) and Melissa respectively.
...

For myself, I have never heard a band play an uninterrupted procession of ...
...

... songs that I love, like these guys did. Thanks a ton, Steve and Tom!!
...

And the visuals were outstanding as well!!
...
Two hours later, some of the audience was perhaps ...
...

... feeling the drain of a long day in the fresh air, but ...
...

... the lads were still ...
...

... going strong!!
...

And the free beer, margaritas and daiquiris were still available,
much to the delight of Melissa and the "good" (so he tells us) twin, Tom Marriott.
...

Not suffering, either, were Uncle Al and the delightful Suzanne.
...

No doubt about it! The lads were great, and ...
...

... much ...
...

... appreciated!!
...

It was after midnight when Steve and ...
...

... Tom finally said good night.
...

You were really terrific, lads! I do hope we'll get to hear you again at next year's regatta.
