Mike Murto went on to
be the backbone of the Midwinters for many years before
his untimely passing in 2015. |
and now all that was left was the Midwinters and boo-hoo-hoo! the trip home |

As we were leaving
Kentucky, Tom Wharton called to inform us
that nearly a metre of snow had fallen at home!
Fortunately, when we got home to Oakville at 10:30 p.m.
Monday (above) it was not quite as bad as that
but it still enough to chill Marc's Jamaican blood!!! |

The next day, it was almost as though we'd never been away!! Above, Uncle Al clutches his Waldringfield Wayfarer mug full of coffee, and a bag full of Midwinters film as he prepares to drive the kids (Joanna 13, David 11) to school while SHADES shivers in the background. |
