Our trip back home
Our first stop Sunday evening was Apopka just north of Orlando.
Dolores and cousin's husband Rick on our way to St. Augustine Monday morning.
...

...
Walking bridge at the Conch House, a very pleasant place for a refreshment and lunch in St Augustine.
Our bikes were well used on our trip.

...
Our camp site in Anastasia State Park, St Augustine. The campsite was made from granulated sea shells. It made for a very clean site and we were allowed to have a campfire as well. Dolores, staying up late one night watching the fire, was visited by a racoon, shortly followed by a fox.  (A bit scary, she told me the next morning but she is brave.)
...
Looking for sea shells on the beach - the water was too cold for a swim.
...
As part of the State Park, the beach is almost 5 miles long in this area - excellent biking with the tide out and hard sand.

February 23,2001: 3000+ miles later: back home without an incident this time. We had our dogs, Misty and Cassie with us,
and I think they also enjoyed the trip as much as we did.
We are planning again for next year and hope to stay a while longer....
