Nearing the finish line, Jim Best (911) who is still making his transom drag, nurses a narrow lead over Jim Lingeman (3991) who in turn ...
...

... will finish just ahead of Butch Minson (3951).
...

(Wayfarers l to r) a trio of Jims: Jim Best 5th, Jim McIntyre 4th, Jim Lingeman 6th
...

Allright, Mr. Lingeman, I give up. Why did you gybe here and make such a ...
...

... hairy mark rounding out of this??
...

Following Jim and Butch in a very close 8th was Ted Benedict. My belated apologies for having handed the camera off with it being accidentally set to overexpose each pic by two f-stops. The rest of the day's sailing pics are computer enhanced as much as I could manage. All I can say in my defense is: "You  should have seen how washed out it looked before I fixed it."
...

Cruising towards the finish in fine wing-on-wing form are Richard and Diane who remain ahead of ...
...

... Mike Murto and Andy Douma, spinnaker and all.
...

Izak and Peter enter into the mix on port tack and will make a very close race of it.
...

What with the angle of the line, someone will win by a nose, as they say. Richard got the 9th-place nod just ahead of Izak.
...

The almost perfect host, Mike Murto, cruises across in 11th. A fine flags picture, too:
the S flag (blue square on white) for shorten course, and the blue flag indicating RC boat on station at finish.
...

And last but definitely not least, our boys from Kansas ...
...

... Pat Baldwin and Ed Rojohn.
