Tony starts to roll the SHADES jib around our
forestay. Rolling up a few turns of leech around its
cringle sort of, makes this a faster, easier job, as then
the leech roll can easily be unrolled around the forestay
without the sail being unwieldy or flogging the the
breeze. ... |

The front appears to have
stalled for now. Word is that the LESC is virtually dead
centre between the Atlantic and Gulf coasts and that this kind of thing happens here a lot: the Gulf weather meets the Atlantic stuff and things reach an impasse. |
