Don't Tony and I look thrilled?!!! :(  Tony came as close to criticism as I have ever had from him when he said "You are too serious!" "Harrumph," said Al or words to that effect. As I revealed to Richard Watterson in an email late last night: Just edited the last of the Mids pics and have come to the conclusion they captured the moment when Jim H had just claimed we fouled him at the finish of race 7 when I thought we'd cleared him, which was the last straw in a series of sub-par results for us. After this I told Tony I'd had enough and we were quitting and heading back to shore. We were almost at the dock when reason prevailed and we did sail the finale and are glad we did. Having said that, I can let you be the first to know that unless I can line up a keen, light and capable crew (e.g. Sue Pilling or Steph) for the 2014 Mids, I will make next year the year I try out an MC. As I edit, I am already finding questions to ask Scott and Dave (copied). 7 May 2021 update: Little did I know then that I would be limited to socializing and photography as the 2014 Mids would mark the beginning of my 9-month ISAF suspension for not showing due respect to the CYA appeals committee. But my boat and sails did get to take part.........
