Despite missing race 1 due to their delayed arrival, Michiganders, Joe DeBrincat (r) and USWA Commodore, Mike Anspach, took 4th place among 10 Wayfarers, only two points behind series 3rd.

Also unable to sail race 1 were Bob Kennedy and Ravi Gupta (l) who nonetheless captured a fine 5th.
...

Seeded 6th but finishing 3rd made the team of Codd and Iredale the Most Improved team among the Wayfarers.

Another sailing season is in the books and rather sadly, we leave - except for one young lady who is still working on her homework??
