A last gasp of sunlight is reflected by the tidal mud as Al decides to explore the Tub at low water.

Again this year, we all had a great time, as Tim and Alan had done a fine job in choosing the excellent restaurant. Even getting back to Hermit Island was interesting, since this was the night of the full moon, when high tide - around 10 p.m. - would be a spring tide that reportedly would cover the road across the Neck between Hermit Island and the mainland.  I for one, drove quite sedately through the nearly a foot of salt water that was covering the road when Julia and I returned. Fun stuff!!
