Dear Julia and Al,

It has been a great pleasure seeing you again among us at this year's rally. Here are some pictures that might interest you. You look great and your boat, too! What a wonderful rally in such a beautiful place. I won't forget sailing on the ocean, the salt water, the tides, the real thing this time?  Quite an experience for me...the queen of the chickens.

Au revoir et au plaisir,

Monday morning, after a rainy night in our tents: (l to r) Joe and Mary Trepal in discussion with Uncle Al prior to Monday's outing - note the steep incline of the walkway down to the floating dock at low tide
...

Uncle Al's W3854 is a bit damp after a night of pouring rain.
...

The intrepid mariners make their way down the walkway: (l to r) Tom Graefe, Tom Erickson and Dick Harrington
...

the two veteran sailors: Al (l) and Dick
...

Tom Graefe (l) and Joe Trepal check the charts before heading out, while the Yankee awaits her first tour group of the day.
...

Dick Harrington explains it as Tom, David Nelson and Joe pay close attention.
...

After a long, sunny day's sailing in fairly light winds, three tired mariners, Joe, André and Dick return to harbour.
...

Tuesday, the day of our sail to Seguin Island and the lobster slaughter, begins with lovely sunshine and light breezes off the Atlantic Ocean. "Two strange sail on the horizon, Capt'n!!"
...

André et Monique round Small Point and can now see ...
......

... Seguin Island and its distinctive lighthouse off the starboard bow.
......

"Another strange sail off the starboard bow, Capt'n!!" Recognized almost immediately as W3854 under spinnaker with Chuck and Ginny Jordan and Al and Julia Schonborn aboard.
......

Seguin Island now off the port bow and ...
......

... coming closer.
......

Most of the group rested for a while in the afternoon after the return from the Seguin adventure before facing off against the lobsters who were going to have a hot time tonight - but not in the old town!!
...

(l to r) André, Tim France, Alan Asselstine and Tom Graefe supervise the kitchen.
...

(l to r) Diane and Tom Erickson, Margie and Dick Harrington
...

(l to r) Joe and Mary Trepal, Rosemary France, Mary Asselstine, Patsy Poulin
...

Tim France (l) smiles a smile that cannot bode well for at least one lobster!
...

As darkness falls, some lamps are lit, and finally, the ...
...

... lobsters are done.
...

Tom and Joe look pretty eager.
...

It looks like some pretty gracious dining is about to take place.
..

The chefs confer.
..

Chow time!
..

A lovely evening for all.
