seemed imminent, Gilles and Al (r) "raced" back to Hermit Island.
After being the last to start from Elm Island, Gilles
showed a fine touch at the helm as he sailed us home to
what in racing circles would be called a horizon job. ... |

and André. The trick of course, was to drop your crew off

Getting securely moored
for what may well be a dirty night! By the time I (black
toque) was showered, it had begun to rain, and there
were no immediate takers for my offer of a ride into
Bath for pizza. Starved after no lunch, I rushed off
alone and had a fine pizza as the epic downpour began.
