Tuesday's plan was to
rendez-vous off Red Cliff Point and then
continue on to a beach picnic lunch on Oak Island. This being Richard
and Al's last Apostles sailing day, they decided to accompany the group
to Red Cliff Point and then head south towards Long Island, just to the
south of Madeline Island. This proved to be a beat all the way into a
strengthening 10 to 18-knot breeze, so we ended packing it in at Red
Cliff where we joined up with Chuck and Bill for a day trip to Tom's
Burned Down Café.
