But there's a cute story about that:
The mother replied, somewhat frostily: "His name is 'Eric'". The doctor checked the chart again, and then apologized, saying, I'm sorry, the chart says "Krik". There must have been an error; I'll have it corrected. The mom then replied: "No, my sister told me you could spell Eric with a 'K', so I did." If I told that story at the rally, and I suspect that I
might have given your question, please make allowances for the
fading memory of an aging man.
