daughter and grandson of the late, great Sonny Usilton
were on hand to

Usilton Memorial
Trophy to Chris Ford. Sonny Usilton was editor
of the Kent County
News and loved sailing.
He did not like handicaps, though, and felt that the
first boat down
the river to Can 5 was the winner of the Down River
Race. As a result,
1st to finish on elapsed time gets the Sonny Usilton,
presented by the Kent
County News after Sonny’s
untimely death.
