The annual rally will be at Wellesley Island State Park (New York) in the 1,000 Islands July 18–25, 2026. Camping reservations open nine months in advance, so you’ll want to be ready to book your campsite on October 18, which will be here soon!
How to book
Booking online is the most efficient (telephone is also available). Reserve at ReserveAmerica — Wellesley Island State Park. As with Killbear Provincial Park (Ontario), campsites go quickly on opening day, but can also be available later as people’s plans change.
- You can book up to 14 nights.
- We generally camp in the E (Eagle) Loop, closest to the docks.
- Campsite descriptions show site size and whether it’s shady/sunny.
- For campsite photos, you can browse campadk.com (independent of WISP and ReserveAmerica; may require a subscription).
Other accommodations & boats
WISP also has cabins (with facilities in a central bath house) and cottages (with bathrooms and kitchens). If you’re bringing a boat, you’ll also want to book a slip at the dock, though you can launch daily if you prefer to keep your boat at your site.

Be ready the day before
Make sure you have a ReserveAmerica.com account set up so you’re ready at 9:00 AM (Eastern Time) on October 18. The WISP website lets you see the night before which sites will be open — super helpful to secure your preferred site. It’s also recommended to do a dry run of the booking process (without the final step) to familiarize yourself.
