David Schonborn still looks happy. Actually, his dad (I) did not realize the gooseneck was gone until the main was hoisted and I discovered I had nothing to plug the boom into. Luckily I borrowed a spare from some unsuspecting soul who was not sailing but whose gooseneck has now won an Around-the-Island Race!!
