Nick and Al: After taking Frank and Andrew back to St. Pete's on Sunday night whence they had flights home to Ottawa and Thunder Bay respectively on the Monday afternoon, Nick and I headed back towards Detroit on Monday morning. The above is the only shot I got during a blessedly warm and uneventful trip home which saw us arrive in Detroit on Tuesday at supper time. The photo shows a citrus grove south of Ocala where Nick loaded up on oranges and adopted a kumquat tree. On Wednesday, it was still warm - a Windsor, ON record high of 14°C for Feb 11th - but windy, foggy and rainy as I completed the last little Detroit-Oakville leg and had SHADES tucked back into her garage by early afternoon - just before the cold roared back in with a vengeance!
