The '99 Wayfarer
North
American
Championships coincided with the 3rd Annual Spitzer
Cup Regatta held on
Lake Erie off Lorain, Ohio August 21-22. The Spitzer
Cup goes to the
Class
with the largest number of entries, and this year,
it was the Wayfarers
who edged out the JAM Fleet and the Force 5's to win
the Cup. Several
of
us are planning to enjoy the marvellous LS&YC
hospitality again
next
year, and defend our title to the Spitzer Cup. But
we'll need your
help!
I'll get a date for the 2000 Spitzer Cup Regatta and
put it here in my
next up-date. |
