A (so far) beautiful Sunday morning. George Blanchard rests his arthritic knuckles as Mike Codd takes the helm.
Note the comfortable pre-race position as Mike leans against the aft bulkhead. However, as this photo dramatically shows, sitting this far aft makes the stern drag and kills speed while one is racing!!

A beautiful moment as Don Jr. stands to help in the takedown. Note however, that steering with the tiller between your knees necessitates standing well aft and makes the stern drag. Therefore time spent in this position needs to be kept to a minimum.
