In the overall fleet action, Colin and Martin beat their seed by four places and thus tied
for the Most Improved honours which earned them the pennant displayed by Scott above.

Placing an almost shocking 6th (a mere 3 pts. out of 3rd) were
our local heroes, the current Canadian champions, Mark (l) and Paul Taylor.

Alastair Ryder-Turner and son, David, took series 4th.

3rd-place finishers in the 2008 Wayfarer North Americans were Ottawa's Frank Goulay and Kim Bergevin -
no spinnaker, no last race and all!!

... Heider Funck (r) and Tom Wharton as the 2008 Wayfarer North American champions.
Heider and Tom also beat their seed by an amazing 4 places and were Most Improved along with Colin and Martin.
