Saturday morning: Facing several tough, wet races, we are all happy to be seeing the nastiness from a dry vantage point for now.

Samantha Wierdsma (15) was crewing for ...

... her dad, Rob.

After Saturday breakfast upstairs at the Club, it was time for ...
...

... our Skippers' Meeting for the Don Rumble Memorial Series which would double as the first day of our Nationals. In the black shirts we have NBYC Commodore, Luc Lalonde (about to welcome us) and his son, Gabriel. In the blue wet gear, we have Harry Budden who helped on the RC and also took many of the excellent racing shots of this year's Nationals.

Dave and Anne display the Wayfarer Class Flag, five of which Mary Abel made for us last year to identify Poker Race pick-up points.
...

Rain or no rain, it was now time to launch. We very much appreciated the assistance of Alan Mills and his ATV in this downpour.
...

Four tough, wet races later, we were quite happy to call it a day and ...
...

... haul out. Here, Al Nichols waits in line.
