Saturday morning: the fleet leaves shore.
...

Lasers await their start.
...

I think this was the race 1 Wayfarer start: (l to r) Frank, John, Tony, Jim (on port!), Richard

The Lasers are off!!
...

Dyer Harris and Jim Georgson in Windmill 5400 approach the end of the first beat
where Connie was in the finish boat and whiling away the time taking pictures. Bravo, Connie!!

One of the Cats sails past for a visit. Either that or he was seriously banging a corner on the other race course!
...

Harry and Megan Murphey get set to tack their Hobie.
...

Nice symmetry as Tom Smith with Helen Noble (3629) and two Laser Radials, Samuel Dobbs (189783) and Danielle Prior approach the windward mark. These two ended the Radials series tied for first, with Danielle getting the nod on a very complex tie-breaker because she had beaten Samuel in the final race.

Roy Sherman and Chris Dara (4500) start their Windmill run (which seems to involve more tacking downwind than most Wayfarer runs!)
...

A nice fast whisker pole set: a skill I used to take for granted until I had to do it when I began to
occasionally crew on the spinnaker-less Rebel a few years ago.
...

Dyer Harris and Jim Georgson look well trimmed and balanced here.
...

How nice it was to see Dyer out sailing with us, after I had gotten so used his great RC work!!
...
