After their
first sail around Clark Lake, the 4160 team were
joined by Dan Hockenberry and Uncle Al in a tuning
session, which showed that 4160 was at least a match
for 4180 (Dan and Al). It's always good to know your
speed and pointing are good going into any regatta,
but of course, on Clark Lake, finding the wind and
playing the shifts are the principal factors.

Saturday
morning: Regatta and Race Chairman, Tim Dowling (r)

race raft complete with flag halyard array and
electric windlass. The old race raft, was more or less
destroyed in May 2004 after being flipped over by a
microblast of violent wind.
