After Sunday's breezy
races,
George Blanchard gets a kiss and ... ... |
... a hug from Kathy
Spademan. ... |
A slight tear in ... ... |
... Uncle Al's spinnaker. ... |
Ken de Boer at pack-up time ... |
A broken boom has to be
good
for something, and that something has been found:
jousting! Carolyn is
eager to gore dear old dad whose new hat blew off in a
gust, and when
Roy jumped to grab it back, he not only capsized the Ferry but also
landed on the boom
and snapped it. A well deserved Crying Towel victory!!
... |
But the hat was saved!! ... |
And no doubt ... ... |
... the Crying Towel ... ... |
... will come in handy! ... |
Undaunted, Roy and Carolyn
never
stopped smiling. ... |
Father, daughter and the Cripple Creek Ferry
are in no big
hurry to join the Civic Holiday traffic jam. |
