Henry Amthor, his crew's wife (whose name I wrote down
but can't find now, four months later!), Barb
Amthor pose for one last shot now that the
Carolina-Edmonton Stanley Cup Final game has ended and
the club bar is about to close. There was a cute story
behind this: Marc and I were just about to go home for
the night and just finishing our final Dark and
Stormies, when Henry's crew, Christian, (I think it
may have been?) recognized Marc's T-shirt and pointed
out: "I sailed in that regatta!" Well, one thing led
to another, and it turned out that both Marc and I
used to sail with Barb's dad, Terry Moss, at Toronto
Sailing & Canoe Club: Marc in the Shark Class, and
Uncle Al in Fireballs in the early 70s.
