A typically crowded
scene from Saturday afternoon's racing as a mixture of Buccaneers,
Sunfish, Interlakes, Rebels and Lasers pass the RC boat on their way to
the east end of Clark Lake. ... |
Interlake 1384, Mr.
Baumert at the helm, on its way to 3rd in race 1. ... |
Mr. Barker (1380) and
Mr. Marriott (909) follow. ... |
Tim Marriott (?) is
next. ... |
A quiet little
spinnaker breeze for Buccaneer 5088. ... |
See! Uncle Al can use
a whisker pole. Blessed with Neil Robb's beautiful Last One (
Rebel 4162), Uncle Al and Joe Blackmore are on their way to a runaway
win in race 1 as they ... ... |
... gurgle past the
club. ... |
This is what happens
when you don't buy a tilt-bed trailer! ... |
Sunday morning: With
an easterly wind, Uncle Al (4162) and John Hudak (4190) have to fight
not only each other as they prepare to gybe around mark 5, but also
Interlake 609 and the one Mutineer, #3744. ... |
Clark Lake was a busy
place on this Sunday morning! (for larger
version of this photo, click here) ... |
I believe this scene
was near #5 in the final race. Uncle Al (4162) reasonably placed near
the inside. And that's it, folks! We'll work on getting more racing pics next year when I crew for Dan Hockenberry. |
