By race 3, Mallory was feeling wet and chilly and borrowed Al's wet jacket. An outstanding soccer player, Mallory was by this time observing that sailing was a pretty tiring business that was using a whole new set of muscles.

... end of race 4. Instead of resting, we then hiked our little hearts out on a glorious planing reach of mile or two back to the club. A perfect end to a terrific day. And that did get us back to the beer faster, too!
