The
beginning of the end
for the SW weather
system wind as seen by Jim and Brenda: If they were racing, the maxim,
"When in doubt, let it out" would apply to both their mainsheet and
their
vang which are giving W9901 an overly tight main leech in these dying
airs.

One
last hurrah for the
SW wind brings
out the Pedersens' spinnaker - but, Ivan! Aren't those the Swedish
national
colours!? I haven't seen any spinnakers with that colour combination in
Denmark!!! You'd better watch it or they'll refuse to let you buy any
more
Gammel Dansk!!!

Annemarie is steering but

Akvavit looking

The lake breeze
begins as a northwesterly.

But as it stengthens, it
veers (to east
of north) - just like it says in the "text" books! Now that they have a
more substantial breeze, Brenda and Jim's sails look great.

Jake Maarse and Chris
Pedersen get a
port tack lift under the west shore cliffs - my only shot of their boat
