After a fine dinner, there was the usual Karaoke. Uncle Al, not being a really big fan of Karaoke, took this opportunity to act as a tour guide for Cleveland Wayfarers, Tony Krauss and Tom Reed, who wanted to experience the Beach Bar. When we returned an hour or two later, the Karaoke was just winding down with only the tireless Interlakes still belting out the songs. But we had not missed the highlight of the evening when a club member who had been at the Eagle's Nest, brought in an a capella group, the Neighborhood Disturbance (above) who had been doing a bit of singing at the Nest and - being sailors all - were willing to give the Clark Lake sailors a few songs to top off our Saturday evening. Thanks, gentlemen! It was super!!! |
