Unfortunately, Len has
sacrificed much of his speed to get up beside Peter
and now has back
wind from Y1760 to contend with. At this point, Len
must ease his sails
and bear off a bit to get his speed back or ...

One last

place for Bob: He is sailing almost parallel to the
finish line and
wants to tack to cross the line. Can he cross Len
who will have
starboard? Even if Bob gets the finish beep before
fouling Len, Bob is
still subject to the Rules of Part 2 until he clears
the finish line
completely.
