What a ...
...

... beautiful ...
...

... sailing locale!

Note the sail head flotation aboard W9668 designed to prevent "turtling" in the event of a capsize.
...

Chief Rally organizer, Dick Harrington arrives from the ramp in Blue Mist.
...

An hour later, Drew Pegler makes his long way down to the water's edge from the campground above ...
...

... to join his mother and sister, Shirley and Stephanie (l)  who are waiting to welcome their intrepid mariner, Kevin.
Our team from Maine has also arrived: (l to r) Crystal, Lisa and David Nelson.
...

No fewer than 6 boats are already enjoying the unique ...
...

... Button Bay "marina".
...

A fine spot for the kiddies to splash around in but the shallow waters become a challenge to those
wishing to sail off this shore in the stronger onshore breezes that we got on Friday and Saturday.
...

With our fleet securely moored, it's time to contemplate dinner.
...
Stephanie shows Uncle Al (who was kindly invited to dinner chez Pegler) the finer points of marshmallow toasting ...
...
... and eating ...
...
... while Shirley enjoys a well earned moment of relaxation after the Peglers' two-day journey from Fredericton, New Brunswick.
