Is this the day Heather White, Ellen Hill's new crew, will get to sail her first race?
...

Heather hopes so.

A considerably cooler day than Friday with forecast highs barely over 60F. Here, Geoff Edwards (l) and Pat Reardon enjoy an early morning coffee while Ellen Hill records the events. Shortly thereafter, we had to get out for race 4 at 0900 hrs. so that our RC could be back ashore after that race to give the Flying Scots their Skippers' Meeting. Unfortunately, Kim Bergevin was co-opted into a shopping trip with Mary Seraphinoff on this day and we ended up getting no sailing pictures.

By 1045 hrs, we were all back ashore for lunch after race in 6 to 12 knots of breeze and increasing overcast.
Al Schonborn and Nick Seraphinoff again placed 1-2 in the race with Peter Hylen and Dave Hepting of LESC scoring an impressive 3rd.

As lunch time approaches, the first of about 20 Flying Scots have been launched.

Lots of Scots.

The Coast Guard was again on stand-by as winds began to pick up into the 10 to 15-knot range.
